Meet Barb

Barb is the co-founder of Age Well Arrowhead. She wrote several grants and secured funding to get Age Well off the ground and was instrumental in closing the services gap for the aging population in Duluth, Hermantown, and Proctor. She was an Eldercare Development Partnership (EDP) Program Developer for the Arrowhead Area Agency on Aging prior to her current position as the grant writer for the Arrowhead Regional Development Commission. Barb is also a skilled facilitator of organizational strategic planning, program evaluation and development, and provides a variety of support services to area aging service providers. She is also a member of the Dementia Friendly Duluth Advisory Committee and provides technical assistance and expertise to foundations that support nonprofits that serve older adults and caregivers.
