Meet Mary Bovee, Executive Director
As someone who served as a caregiver for several years, Mary understands both the joys and challenges older adults and their loved ones experience throughout the aging process. Mary became the Executive Director of Age Well Arrowhead in 2015, and is working to transform the way we age in the Northland. Mary is a member of the Arrowhead Regional Transportation Coordinating Council, Dementia Friendly Communities, Duluth Advisory Committee, Northwood Technical College Gerontology Aging Services Professional Program Advisory Committee, and is an Alzheimer’s support group facilitator.
Mary has a Master’s degree in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Management, is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)®, certificated from the University of Wisconsin Superior in Human Resource Management and Leading & Managing Nonprofit Organizations, and is a certified Resources that Enhance Alzheimer’s Caregivers Health (REACH) Interventionist. Mary also completed Advanced Dementia Capability Training and Basic Caregiver Coaching Skills Training for Professionals Supporting Family Caregivers.
