Meet Jayne Petrich, Groceries to Go Coordinator
Jayne Petrich’s career and educational background has been working with people with physical disabilities. She has worked coordinating Courage Kenny’s adaptive ski program at Spirit Mt, worked with at-risk kids and families in ISD 709 as a support staff, Northwoods Children Service as a foster home, and worked with people who have Alzheimer’s Disease and their families at the Alzheimer Association in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. She holds a dual bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Education.
As the new Grocery Coordinator, Jayne’s job is to work with volunteers who take grocery orders and shop for Age Well Arrowhead clients who are unable to shop for themselves. The Groceries-To-Go program serves different locations and including Duluth, Cloquet, Proctor, Hermantown and Superior, WI. Age Well Arrowhead’s goal is to grow the program in the Northland and surrounding areas.
As a native to Duluth MN, Jayne enjoys the different seasons by doing a lot of outdoor activities; camping, skiing, biking, exercising with her dogs and yard work. She also loves to read, journal, attend plays and watch movies.
