Peter Hafften, Program Manager
Working with others and building relationships with the people around him have defined Peter’s career. With a background in education Peter has found success managing the Age Well paid and non-paid employees. Peter is focused on managing and developing the programs at Age Well Arrowhead to help older adults in the community. His passion is to help others and that desire has guided him throughout his life. Peter graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a B.A.A. in Teaching and worked at an Adult Day Program teaching those with disabilities and severe and persistent mental illness. He has extensive training in allowing individual choice, Person-Centered Thinking, and Human Resource Management. Peter has also completed his certification in Advanced Dementia Capability Training and has educated more than 75 businesses to become Dementia Friendly. He has been apart of the Age Well Arrowhead team for 6 years and is focused on bringing an energetic and organized approach to each program.
Peter also has a love for the outdoors and is an avid fisherman. He owns a fishing education company that is dedicated to teaching others the enjoyment of fishing. In his spare time away from the office, it is safe to say Peter can be found near a lake. Most of all he enjoys spending time relaxing with his wife, daughters, dogs, and family at their northern Minnesota cabin.
